On 24 March 2026, Warsaw hosted the Three Seas Business STEPS conference — a gathering that did not talk about the region’s potential. It demonstrated what execution already looks like.
The Three Seas region has spent years making the case for itself. The numbers are compelling — 110 million people, a combined economy of $2.3 trillion, growing at twice the pace of Western Europe. But numbers alone do not move capital or build partnerships. What moves both is proof of execution.
STEPS 2026 was built around exactly that shift. A wide circle of business leaders, investors, and policymakers, and technology executives gathered in Warsaw not to restate the potential — but to work through what implementation actually requires.
If you want to quickly and clearly understand the real significance of the Three Seas Initiative today—for business, investors, and international partners—the summary below delivers the key insights from the Davos discussion.
The conversation made one point unmistakably clear: the Three Seas region is becoming one of Europe’s most dynamic zones for growth and investment, with massive infrastructure, geostrategic, and technological potential. This is also a pivotal moment when—with the right financial instruments and coordination—a breakthrough in mobilising private capital and building long-term competitive advantages for the region may finally occur.
The Three Seas Business Forum 2025, held on 28–29 April at the Hilton Warsaw City Hotel, gathered a record number of participants and reaffirmed the growing importance of the Three Seas region as one of Europe’s key engines of development. The event brought together more than 650 business leaders, government officials, investors, and experts, representing 36 countries, along with 10 Heads of State—making it the largest business forum in the history of the Three Seas Initiative .
